Sustainable Sciences is a dynamic 10-year young specialty chemical company that leverages the rich expertise of its group company, Multi Organics, which has been in operation for nearly 50 years. Established in 1976, Multi Organics continues to manufacture 25,000 metric tonnes of bulk intermediates each year, maintaining a competitive edge in terms of cost-effectiveness. At Sustainable Sciences, we combine new-generation deep chemistry techniques with optimized process engineering to manufacture specialty chemicals with the highest resource efficiencies and, consequently, perhaps the lowest possible costs.

Sustainable Sciences was founded to investigate a fundamental question: Is it really commercially feasible to manufacture specialty chemicals and materials in an environmentally-friendly manner using Science and Technology with the objective of protecting the planet we live on?
This seed of an idea led us to study various principles such as Frugal Manufacturing, Cradle-to-Cradle lifecycle, Circularity, Recycle-to-Reuse, the 4R Principle, and Zero Liquid Discharge, among others. This study helped us realize that the only way for chemical manufacturing to sustain in the future is by integrating all these principles harmoniously to achieve the maximum possible resource efficiency. Selecting the right innovative chemistry and designing a high-efficiency chemical process is just the first step towards achieving long-term sustainability and competitiveness.
And so, Sustainable Sciences was established in 2014-15, with a goal that almost wrote itself: Do More. With Less.

Carbon Neutrality
Charting a greener future
We have set for ourselves a definitive objective: to achieve carbon neutrality within 2030-2035. We are proud to share that our progress is already underway, as we would have successfully accomplished 10% of this target by the end of Fiscal 2023-24.
To move towards carbon neutrality, we use carbon sequestration techniques through large-scale afforestation. This approach is not only highly effective but also most cost-efficient, making it an optimal solution in the pursuit of our goals.
